do you mean the keeping it stiff part of the flicking it in the air?

it does look bizarre. it looks like shes either mad at something or trying to impress something. im not overly sure though :?

Hey,

Don’t let it bother you. Archimedes does that too, especially when he does not want to be touched—I tend to ignore it though and pick him up anyways. This behavior could be a factor of many things, but I strongly believe it’s tied to territorial behavior.

When Archimedes was young, he would do the same exact stance and would pin his eyes. If I reached inside his cages he would nail me with a nice bite—which I ignored. Now, he’ll pin like that and just get on my finger without making a fuss. He knows what is expected of him. It’s really cool that you can see their emotions.

You dedication to your ringneck is astounding—keep up the work buddy!

Best wishes,

thanks imran

I have noticed she is very territoial of her cage.

She has a bowl in there that she can see her refection in and i need to get another one but havent had the chance because i got one and she screamed at it

That low scream

So i took it out and havent gotten another one and she will sit down there and pin and do the little cluck thing

hehe Oli's cute =)
Hemi also does this when he doesn't want me near his toys, his cage, or MY girlfriend :D (yes! he loves her, and gets all defensive when I try to un-tangle him from her hair) So I could be wrong, but I strongly believe its a territorial thing also!

 Olly is definately telling you she doesnt want you near her 'Stuff'. Yoda does this too, mostly around his food.
