Hello everyone.
I have a breeding pair of lutino IRNs for the past two years. Their clutch last year had all lutino babies but this year it's a mixed nestbox of predominantly albinos and a single lutino. I've come to understand now that the father would be split to albino.
I was wondering if there was a scientific way of predicting the gender of the babies?
Please excuse my ignorance, I'm new to IRN genetics.
Regards.

There is no way to predict their gender. Ringnecks aren't specifically split to lutino or albino. They're split to Ino and the actual color is determined by their base color. Blue makes albINO and green makes lutINO. Both your Lutinos are actually split to blue. That's why you're getting Albinos out of them. These are the mating predictions...
Lutino/blue x Lutino/blue
50% Lutino/blue
25% Lutino
25% Albino
Males & females
Lutino/blue x Lutino/blue
50% Lutino/blue
25% Lutino
25% Albino
