harlequin pallid

Post by pizzaguru »

Trying to decide what the best way to go, I've got a harlequin pair and some pallids, curious if it would be worth breeding a Harlequin with a pallid. Been looking for a pic of one but no luck. Any advice?

Both are melanin altering mutation. So a combination should be avoided because you will end up with "lutino" looking birds.
So best way is the combine both mutations with structual (dark, violet, deep) or (and) parblue (turquoise, indigo, aqua) mutations.

Thx Madas, so would it be correct in saying that putting them with my chct mutation, the results could be the same as breeding them with the pallids?
