Thanks for putting this great info in one place
My name is neil. I live in Southern California and I'm the caretaker of a 14-month-old blue Indian ringneck. I adopted him a year ago when he was eight weeks old. Unfortunately the breeder butchered her wings. And as a result over the last year my ring neck has broken all of her/his tailfeathers off, from dropping like a stone. She's finally going through her first major molt and has grown a half a dozen flight feathers. And can glide to the floor as needed. Unfortunately it seems his tail feathers came in before her wing feathers and those were broken off one at a time as they came in. Not to worry with a proper wing clipping this year I'm sure she will have a full tail after his next molt. And you may have noticed I'm not sure if he's a she or not. I'm leaning towards female due to the lack of any darkening of ring or mask. Thanks again and I look forward to meeting ya'll

Welcome. Sounds like he/she is lucky to have you!
