I have had a female Alex for several months now and just bought a male last week, he is still in quarantine. She is 6 and he is 4. I am just wondering if they are like the IRNs and winter(here) breeders. I know my IRNs are going to town now.

Yep, they breed the same time as irns. It may be too late for these two this year because they haven't had time to bond.
