Does not talk on hand.

My IRN simply refuses to talk whilst perched on my hand.

He does respond to whistling (perhaps that is his favorite mode of communication) but does not say any words. However, when he is sitting in his cage or on his favorite chair, he will pour out all his vocabulary without any hesitation. I have tried everything to make him be as conversant on my hand, but I think it's about time I let him be and accept the fact he is not going to speak out words on my hand.

A little background on the bird. I got him when he was 50 days old. He's well fed, loves treats, gets plenty of play time (although he is very very scared of toys). The only thing he fancies are toothpicks and plastic bottle caps.
