awww.. I just love seeing squeak, great that we all get to see this little one grow from such a young age. My Kai is 11 months old - his bday is 11th October, makes him a Libran, like my mum and husband, no wonder Kai can never make up his mind if he like apple or pear better.. heheh

Well, just found out that Mrs. B is a very old bird, 15 years or more old...Vet said that older birds to not molt out or replace missing prmaries very often...Mrs. B has had her remaining primaries for over a year now and has not replaced any missing one....Luna, my lutino male is just about or over 3 years. In the last six months he has gotten his white ring, all ready had his rose ring when he came here 6 months ago...VERY hormonal this month......Houdini, he is my new 9 month old baby..Houdini is some type of blue, not sure what shade...might be mauve

My Prettygirl is a green female and she is 5 1/2 years old. She seems to be more hard headed than she use to be. Of course I probably am to. This spring she seemed to want a boyfriend a lot more than the last couple of years. She seems to look around for places to hide and make a nest. If she is doing something she shouldn't do and I go to pick her up she nip's me.

You should have put "Below 1 year old", because some ringneck here are below 1 year old, like mine; 3 month old.

I do not have a IRN but would like to get one in the future. Until the time comes I am trying to learn as much as I can.

Was curious to know why not too many people have older birds? Majority of those that voted have birds that are around 1 - 3 years old. Whats the reason for this?? Do people lose interest in their birds after awhile??

Kinda confused to why I am not seeing a lot of older birds... :?
