I have always had a bit of a feeling that Wasa is a little boy due to the shaddow around his little neck. I am pretty sure it is getting darker. HOWEVER when he lets me rub his neck he puts his neck up and wings out and takes on the female mating kind of stance. then lets me do whatever I want, I can pull his wings out rub him anywhere and he absolutely loves it... can do it up to half an hour at a time, he even runs across the room and perches on my shoulder and chest just so he can get a bit of birdy lovin'
Is this what everyones Ring Neck does when petting and smooching or just my unique little baby?

does s/he rock his/her head backwards at all when you rub his/her neck ? Have you seen both male and female behaviours yet so you can recognise them ? I have video of both if you haven't and would like to see it.

I have seen both behaviours, but would love to see them again lol, can never ever get enough of watching he he he....

From the sounds of it. Wasa sounds like a girl! But don't take my word for it. They can fool you sometimes. Thats why waiting is your best bet. Or DNA testing. Waiting is more exciting I think. I would say girl though.

My Datsun fooled EVERYONE here, he did the female clucking, very little male behaviour and basically was the stereotypical female ringneck. I got him DNAd (told me male) and even Jeremy and Imran said they were still convinced Dats was a girl... then he got his ring and became a very hansome man... they like to fool us!!

Does everyone forget the picture I captured off a vid of datsun, I posted the pic stating that this looks very much like a male stance to me. Grrrr I had thoughts that D was a male .. Me Me Me .. lol .. don't forget me. Have I jumped up and down enough yet ?
