R.I.P Echo

Post by awesome-o »

Ok... so about 10 minutes (9:40pm) ago my 7 week old Cockatiel, Echo, passed away. Neither my girlfriend or I have no idea why, but i came home today at 5pm and Echo was just sitting in her little homemade nest, and he had no balance or no personality left in him, he looked so sad.

Mandy and i spent the next few hours trying to feed water to him through a eye drop type thing as he was giving up on life. Watching my cute little tiel slowly slip from us was the saddest thing that has ever happened in my life. It was absolutely horrible.

So just a warning to all owners, treat each day like its their last one... and play with them and love them every day!

Aw, I can't imagine one of my pet parrots leaving me. My condolences are with you and Echo. You are absolutely right, enjoy each day with your parrot because you never know when it is their time.

I am so sorry to hear about Echo—just know we are all thinking about him!

 Poor Echo. Im so sorry mate. Hugs for you, Mandy and Charlie. So true, birds are delicate lil creatures, it can happen so easily without warning so we need to pay extra attention. Hope you, Mandy and Charlie are ok.

Hun... Im so sorry. Wow, nor could I imagine.

*hugs you*

Out of respect for your baby, I am moving this over to our 'Rainbow Bridge' forum. It helps us talk through losses and is somewhat of a memorial. Everyone will see it just as well there as here.

God bless you hun. Happy days ahead, ok?
