Just about to give Gilbert his first taste of pumpkin. Thought he might want something different. He usally eats, brocolli, corn on a cob, apple, grapes, celery, peas... but hes never tried pumpkin. Dont know why I never bought it. I dont like it myself. Its in the sticky but Im not sure what to do with it.
My question is, can they eat it raw or should it be cooked? Just want to make sure.

Hehe. Sounds like pumpkin is a hit! Gilbert used to do that with his corn.

I just made my first attemp at making biscuits for my fids. (Im not much of a kitchen woman!)

I just mashed pumpkin with seeds, oats, saltanas, cinnamon, peanut butter. So good Im even eating it. The mixture was a hit with them. So Im guessing theyll like the crunchyness even more.

Ill give them to the fids tommorow, right now they are munching down some corn on a cob and brocolli. Gilbert being a fussy pain wasnt eating his vegies, so I put some mixture on them. Now hes interested!

Thanx, I was 90% sure they could have it raw.

I agree Mik, Im not a fan. But... My bickies were a HIT! they love em. And I made enough to last 2 weeks! This is amazing, because I NEVER cook. They are so good I even like them!

I read this on Punkins..

They seem to be VERY healthy for them. Vitamin A, calcium, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus.. I was doing the grocery shopping and thought I might try something they havnt had before. I picked a good one. :D
