New Baby

I brought this little guy home this morning. So far so good. Already playing, eating and wanting attention. Not sure what to name him yet but I know it will come to me in a few days.
Does that light ring around his neck mean anything at all or is it just teasing me?

they do show a hint early on but it doesn't mean his actual ring is coming in already.
do you know for a fact it's male?

Still loving this guy. He is comfortable stepping up, taking treats and hanging out out side of his cage with the entire family. He spent the morning calling to the birds out side the window and sharing fruit with the kids.
Doing my hardest night to rush things but he seems to want to be apart of the goings on so I'm not going to hold him back
