Hi Everyone -

After much thought, prayer and discussion, we have sold Nikki to a good friend who will take excellent care of her.

The problem was the screaming. When we bought her we were told she didn't talk and didn't scream. Well, it turns out she was a terrific talker, which we loved, but also screamed her head off, which we and our neighbors cannot take.

Both Bill and I have frequent headaches as part of our disability and we simply couldn't take it anymore.

In her place I have purchased a cute little Green Cheek Conure (Pyrrhura NOT Aratinga) who does not scream. Sqwauk, yes, but we can live with that.

I want to thank all the folks here for all their help and friendliness. Take care and enjoy your LOVELY IRNs!

Yes I agree, please stay. We aren't allowed to have green cheeks over here in Western Australia so it would be great to see pics and find out lots about them as I've heard they are such little characters.
