Bar space

Post by Sundance »

Hi.. we are getting our first IRN this week. He or she is 11 wks old , a blue IRN.. can't wait , so excited. But I need to know if the cage we have will be ok ? Its a 32 X 23 playtop cage , and the bar space is 1" .

Is this ok ? I'm afraid the bar space is too big .. what do you all think ? Will he or she beable to get its head through the bars ?

Thank you

if i'm not mistaken, one inch should be fine. 3/4" would be better of course but I do believe 1" is okay also...
I like 3/4" because it's smaller than 1" and still large enough for me to put my fingers into it to pick it up if i need to.

Use the search option on the forum for bar spacing
if that doesn't work out so well try a search for
1"
one inch

the information is here somewhere

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
