settling in period and genral well being

Hi have only had charlie for one day and he hasn't made any sounds yet,does it take a few days to settle in,and also i've noticed one of his pupils is slightly larger than the other is this ok

It is quite common for birds to not make a noise after an environment change. It may take a little while for your bird to feel comfortable. In the mean time, enjoy the peace and try to get your bird to associate you with good things such as treats. Be very gentle and patient with your bird.

sanjay was as quiet as a mouse when we first got him, for a few weeks too. I was bursting with curiosity, as I had no idea what an IRN sounded like. But he was an excellent listener!,
