Hello! My name is ChiMo! And my new baby's name is Bloodwing! He is a Albino Indian Ringneck that I bought from ABC Birds (a speciality birds store).
I don't think he'll develop a ring, but I assume for the time being (until I figure out where to get a DNA kit) that BloodWing is male.
He has a rather large cage with 2 toys, a cuttlebone, a special perch for his nails, and eats a pellet and seed diet.
He enjoys kisses and loves playing with his toys.
He comes running when I unlock the cage and when its time to go back in he begins distracting me by repeatedly coming in for a kiss.
He seems happy but there are so many questioned I'd like to ask!
He's my first Ringneck, but not my first bird!
I hope we can all be friends!!

Hello ChiMo and welcome
You are correct, albinos do not get a ring. Depending on where you live, there are options online for getting a DNA test done that are quite simple.
Your baby sounds like he loves you very much and we can't wait to see pics of him

I am owned by my birds...and I wouldn't have it any other way
