my IRN just ate a bit of my aero peppermint chocolate bar. he probably ate a section the size of my thumbnail most of which was the peppermint insides with a thin layer of milk chocolate around it. What should I do?

Really the only thing you can watch for is any signs of toxicity from the chocolate. Usually the sweeter milk chocolate is less toxic than dark chocolate. But they are all bad. They contain a natural drug in them called theobromine that speeds up their heart. Because of their fast metabolisms they can't process it slow enough. Watch for hyperactivity, vomiting, diarrhea, and seizures. Personally I would take the bird to the vet. In the future I would try really hard to keep all foods on the list of toxic foods out of reach. Hope that helps
