How old is she? Has she never been in the water before? Are you able to allow her out of her cage? Does she ever ride around on your shoulder? A little more information might help :)

I have heard once a week is good. Other people offer a bath every day. I do once a week.

As far as misting I would say twice a week would cover it.

(i can't mist my bird, he freaks out)

My youngest takes showers with me and the other two get good baths about once or twice a week. They begin playing in their water dish and I realize it's time to put a larger bowl of water on their cage :D

Mine liked showers for a short time then abruptly gave up on them in favor of baths. I am thinking of getting him an actual bird bath for his large outdoors cage
