My ringneck has laid three eggs and she has been sitting on them for a week or two now, i was just wondering is it normal for the eggs not to be the same size? I just checked the eggs and one was noticeably bigger than the other two, but not a whole lot bigger. It was the same last year when she laid eggs one was slightly smaller (they were infertile).
Any advice appreciated thanks

Re: Eggs
ok thanks yeah last season both of them were only around two years old and i introduced the male a bit late.. but hopefully this time they will be fertile. So different sized eggs doesnt mean there is a problem with the hen or anything? The egg isnt an unusual shape just slightly larger
