I doubt if any breeder will be able to post a pic of an opaline chf or opaline bronze fallow. A friend of mine (Hugo Niebuhr) should be able to produce opaline chf (buttercup) this season. He also produced the first adm pied chf in SA.
Quality adm pied/chf

Hi
Sorry to burst your bubble
but I would also be lining up with Hugo as I would also be breeding that this year. However there is another breeder in bloem that would also be in the running as he has the same pairing but the bird was bred last year in S.A
Tks

I know everyone is busy with breeding season...so answer when you have a chance. Would the CHF opaline have the red eyes or dark eyes? Thanks

I'm not breeding with any yet. I'm in the states. Breeding season isn't for a few months yet. I just didn't know if the red changed with the addition of the opaline. Thanks

Not yet my friend, I have 2 friends that with red eye babies in the nest but we need more time to see if they are clearheaded fallow opaline. One baby look different to the other therefore I believe we have an excellent chance.
We are blessed this season, all the breeders I speak to are positive with better results compared to the past 2 years.
Be patient, time will tell.

Ben and Kees
I contacted the breeder 2 weeks ago, according to him one of the babies must be chf opaline. It is a very light colour chf. If all go according to plan I will visit him this weekend to take pics.

My apology for the late response. The bird died before I could get a picture. I have setup a pair to produce it myself.

Ask Sjack for pics of such a combo. He has breed one (femlae) in 2015. But the bird isn't as nice as an opaline CT. And a male will get the head of a CHF. For now such a bird is a lighter colored CHF with opaline markers in the flights and tail. But thats it.
