Hand rearing a 3 week old Ringneck
Hi, I am new to this forum, so don't know if this is the right place to ask. I just bought a baby ringneck yesterday. The owner of the shop didn't know exactly how old he is, but by the pictures I've seen on the internet, he is about 3 weeks old. The pet shop owner told me to feed it by syringe, 15ml three times a day. I've been doing exactly as he said, but I'm a bit worried. When I give him his feeding, his crop fills up and becomes as big as his head. Also, by the time I'm supposed to give him his next feed, his crop is still not completely empty. Do you think I'm giving too much food, or should I give him less and more frequently? Any input would be appreciated.

Hey there, I'm new to the forum but I do have some experience with hand feeding. How is your bird now?
