my irns laid 4 eggs starting late of the night of the 9th of febuary.

i am expecting the first egg to hatch in 3-4 days and i was wondering if it is to late to candle them would it harm them or their development to handle/candle them this late in incubation?

i think you can candle at any time. But I'd use one of those pen torches specicfically designed for that. It makes it so much easier to see.

in the past i have used a big flashlite and tape a piece of cardboard over it with a small hole in it and put the egg on the hole.
