well its been a slow process but my little fella has decided that me and the wife aren't the enemy after all, and wants to be our friend.it's hard to believe that just a few weeks ago he wouldn't come anywhere near us when out of his cage.but after some good advice ,and using food/treats as pursuasion, he won't leave us alone???

So precious!
Thank you so much for sharing. Im going to move this over to the Photo Forum for all to see!
Full=flight? Awesome. If not for 4 kids I would too have a flighted bird. Risk where I sit is far too big (my bird is my best friend, no shame lol).

That's so awesome! Is this bird a young one? Looks young. Happy to hear that you can hold/interact with him. Congrats!

thanks for the replies guys.
we have had numpty since we got married 18 months ago,but i have no idea exactly how old he is, still quite young i think (i am presuming "he" is a "he" !! )
still a long way to go on the taming thing but it's a start!!

LOVE the name!! Is it pronounced like Humpty Dumpty but with an "N"?
