Hi just wanted to know whether this is true or not, does having a playswing in a breeding cage decrease the fertility of a ringneck?
Thanks

Re: playswing in breeding aviary
Hi Lushen
I have swings and when I can afford extra toys and that for my breeding birds I get them.
I have had no problem with fertility.
I feel sorry for them and think they may be bored with nothing to do all day so I feel its good stimulation for them.
We also get meilies from my aunt and dry them and make toys out of them for the birds. They love it and strip them so they are bare, leaving the floor looking like confetti has been strewn over it.
So, my opinion is no, it does not affect fertility rate
Thanks:)
Carmen.
