Hi all.
New to this forum and to owning IRN's. We have an 8 week old male (assumed male - not dna sexed yet) and a 12 week old hen which we purchased just earlier today.
The male (Misha) has been living with us for around a fortnight and is proving to be quite sociable/friendly when taken out of the cage, we got him the same day he made his way out of the nesting box. The female however (Ellie); so far is quite aggressive and does not like to be touched/picked up. Going to keep them in separate cages until we're confident she wont harm the male. She seems to loath and despise Misha, wanting to attack and her eyes immediately dilate with her feathers pricking up as if a sign of anger.
Have many many questions but will utilise the search function first before asking you all the same things you've likely been asked a hundred times over by newbies.
Great website by the way - you cant search for anything IRN related without being lead here by google well done on a great site.
We also have a 4 year old lab Bailey, a young female budgie (hand tame) and a cockatiel.
