according to wanadoo psittacula krameri... the eyes of dominant pieds are black with yellowish iris while recessive pieds have very dark red eyes with translucent iris

It looks recesive pied to me and most likely a hillerman pied.
Very nice looking bird.
Thanks Glenn

What would be the best way to pair this hen?

if you are aiming to produce pieds... there is no way you can produce with this hen except of course with a pied cock because the offsprings would only be split recessive pied

yes this I know. I would keep any future offspring to use as breeding stock. PallidIno and Turq are the only males I have spare. I was more wondering if I should pair to blue series or green series.

with pallidino cock you could produce ino and pallid hens aside from green cocks... while with torq cock you could only produce green cocks and hens. so its up to you... blue series or green series cocks for me would be fine because it depends on what mutations youre trying to produce. how much would it costs you for that hen?

the cost was more than I wanted to pay

but...it will be a nice addition to my breeding stock.

Hawaaian, that's a beauty. I have kept Hillerman piers for many years now and I doubt this bird is from this strain. You could have a modification or a fallow type that bears further investigation. Do you know the birds parentage?
