trim feathers

can someone help tell me how i need to trim my parrots feathers ...ive never done it before..its a male 2 year old parrot

if you have never done it i would call a few pet shops or vets to see if they can do in for you
im in melbourne i do it at my pet shop

I would also recommend getting it done by someone who knows what they're doing. Our local pet stores do it for free but I only go to one particular person who I know does a good job or our avian vet. If you do it, there is a chance that they could associate you with the trauma of getting their wigs clipped and it could make it more difficult when relating to your bird later.
