as i was feeding my ringneck, Gluttony, he shuved his beak through the wires on his cage and got his beak stuck!
he did this when he was a baby aswell guess he doesnt learn
so im buying a new cage today, with wider spacing because im scared he will do it again when im not home and break his neck
hopefully he wount try and put his whole head through though!

he probably is trying to climb the cage... i have seen ringnecks hang down from the top of grided cages... they use their beaks and their feet at the same time, so it may be that he was trying to climb and got stuck! it isn't major and he isn't stupid (but sometimes they can be very foolish and silly...)

he wasnt climbing while doing it, he did it on purpose cause i was watching him when he did it

i love him heaps but his not intellegent lol
his getting a new cage tomorrow with wider bar spacing so he cant get stuck
