Question about hatchlings and hand feeding!

I want to let my breeding pair raise their chicks from day 1 until they aren't too young and fragile, but eventually I want to hand feed them to help create a bond with people, but when exactly should I take them from the nest? Or should I wait until they are kicked out of the breeding box? I remember my pair of cockatiels kicked their babies out of the nest so we took them and hand reared them, will IRNs do the same? Or is this all together not a good idea?

Generally they are removed at about 2 to 3 weeks of age for hand raising. The parents shouldnt kick them out of the nest. They will leave the nest when they are fully feathered and ready to start flying.
