I need help..

I have an IRN thats around 7 weeks old, when i first got him i was told to feed it cerelac, which is what i did. However just a few days ago he is refusing to eat at all.

i've left it in the cage and it is still not eating on its own. I'm not sure what to do.

is it ok if forcefully feed him or change his diet?

I hope someone can help me :)

Is it a hand readered bird or parent reared bird? Is it properly weaned? If it isnt weaned then you will need to handfeed it. If it has been weaned try some fruit. Cut into small pieces and some seed. At 7 weeks it should be picking up and trying food. I always like to keep my birds with their parents till they are about 10 weeks old so I know for sure they are feeding themselves. Have water easily available. If it is definately not feeding then you may need to try and feed with a spoon or syringe.
