Is it true that a pet bird cannot be bred? I heard from some breeders that tame, handfed birds won't be able to breed and raise young.

this may be true i have a male that was hand fed and a pet for about 6 months of it's life he is now 4 years old and last year and this year i have seen him breeding numerous times with a proven hen and two years in row all eggs have been infertile mike

well i dont think its true my male was hand fed and hes 20 months old and hes ad is first clutch about 2 and half week ago and the eggs were fertile
