Keeping baby birds in the same cage as their parents

Hi all, I have two gorgeous baby ringnecks almost 12 weeks old living in the same large cage as their parents. i was wondering when would be the best time/age to remove them from their parents in a different cage? They are starting to peck at each other and im getting worried.
Or do i have nothing to worry about and i am still able to leave them all together?

Thanks, and best wishes to everyone in this festive season :)

Hi tweet,

I would take them out before the next breeding season.

They will start to fight over the aviary especially if there is a nest box in there.

If they fight to much then seperate them immediatly as it doesnt take long for a hen to kill
other birds that are in her territory.

Thanks Glenn

Ohh OK. That is a very reasonable answer. Thanks Glenn. I will take that advice!
