Hello everyone, I just bought my african ringneck from a breeder today and didn't really notice the hole he has on his beak/nostril area. I called the breeder after I got home and told him about it and he said its normal since its an african ringneck and not an indian ringneck. This does not seem normal to me after seeing pictures of them on Google. He breaths, behaves, eats, and does everything else properly and the hole doesn't seem to bother him. I wanted to know if it will grow back or heal over time. Any special diet i should try to put him on so the hole recovers faster? Here are a few pictures of him. The right nostril area is normal, its the left side that is bigger as you can see from the pictures.

I would get him checked out. it may be from another bird attacking him. But we cant say for sure cause we arent vets.
