what am i doing wrong

i wish to post photos of my new family members on here i find the pic i want press download and then it tell me the file is too big how do i make them smaller so i can post them...anyone who can help would be great thanks angela

If you have a photo program, resize your photos in there to a smaller size.

diid it work my new pastel blue cobolt (found a smaller pic still trying to make the pthers smaller..
