I just acquired an 11+ yrs indian ringneck his name is Rico, he has been with us now for 2 days and I think he is showing some signs of stress?? this am I noticed some secretions around his nostrils and beak, is this normal? This afternoon he seems fine, no signs of secretions?? Now I am really confused could he just be stressin because of the new environment? Please give me any advice you may have, I want to make Rico as comfortable in his new environment as psoosible. Thank you.

They can get stressed when going into a new environment but what you are describing sounds more like the start of a respiratory problem, I'd get him to a vet as soon as possible and get him checked out. Usually a IRN's nostril and beak area are dry and clean.
