Help. 6 year old ringneck......right for me????

Hi, of course I realize all birds have unique personalities. But I am thinking of buying a 6 year old blue ringneck. Is this bird still young enough to bond to me and learn new things, or is it too old?? I dont know if I should get it or not. Thank you for your advice.

I don't think a 6yo bird, (or any pet for that matter), is too old to bond.
I believe it really depends on the amount of time, energy and love that is put into bonding process.
Also compatibility is a must.
I have read heaps of stories of people giving homes to older birds and have successfully settled in.
