I have two Indian Ringnecks. One is Lutino- Chester, the other is green- Pickle. They are 1 1/2 years old. And I haven't had them DNA'd. Pickles' ring is starting to show and Chester's hasn't so I assumed that Chester was a girl...

BUT lately.. Chester has been trying to climb onto Pickle.... haha.

I don't really understand it. It's quite humorous to watch though.

I have witnessed one of my definite males, (black ring, and a father), behaving like a hen bowing down and allowing a young bird to climb on his back and do the male thing.
I thought it was a bit strange.

i have two males 1 8+ yr old ringneck and 1 3yr old alexandrian. They cluck and feed eachother and they both have marks on their heads from the usual male female affection type scratching of eachothers heads. They havent as far as I know been doing anything else.
