our new ringneck, velg's wing spreading behaviour question

Hi guys, we recently got a blue indian ringneck, which the seller told us was 6 months old. we have had him about 2 weeks now and he has just started opening his wings like in the video. could anyone shed some light on this behaviour for us please?

looks like s/he is stratching and doing some exercise to me

Yeah it looks like he is just stretching or maybe he is getting a little hot and is trying to cool off. I don't think it's anything to worry too much about, but since you just got him, it wouldn't be a bad idea to go for a routine check-up with and avian vet if you have one in your area. I hope this helps!
