Hi Madas, I didn't know how to break the news to you. 
I have chicks out of pied pairs, as well as dark factor pairs that also show it.
However, something is causing this. It is still a valid question: Why do some chicks show it, while others don't? There are many variables. Maybe it has to do with psittacin or lack thereof.
