:D my irns have finaly started breeding and several times a day at that the female is also spending more time in the nest than out only leaving it to eat and mate she can be heard scratching and digging in the bedding so much that she reduced it to half of what it used to be so I put some more bedding in because i read that they like to dig a lot in their nests but am now thinking that it may have been a mistake because i realized that maybe she wanted less bedding in the nest and i could have possibly set her back while i hope not   does any body know if this was a good, bad, or doesnt matter choice of action for her excessive digging????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I generally just leave them to do their own thing, she will most likely dig it away to the side of throw it out to make it the way she wanted it, just leave her be and see what happens
