Im Dakota. I have a 5 year old IRN, Scooby. I think he is 5 years old. He was neglected when I bought him from a feed barn. He was in a very small cage, no toys or anything so I got him and I have had him for 3 or 4 years now. He is still a bit unruly at times but he has come along way, he used to sit in the far corner of the cage and not let me touch him and wouldn't talk or sing. Now he wont be quiet and he will let me pick him up and he will sing and talk. Right now im working with him to let me pet him and getting him to trust the rest of my family, so far only I can hold him. Training has been slow with him, I do get frustrated with him so I came here hoping for advice.
I would have added a photo but it wont let me because I am new. But he is yellow with a red ring instead of a black one.
