egg laying

hi can any one help me as i have 2 breeding pair of indian ring necks i purchased these about 2 weeks ago but when i purchased them little did i know that the hen had allready laid an egg so i brought them as the owner was going to throw away the egg i then left the egg in the nest box and put the nest box in there new aivery. 2 days later she laid anither one but its on the floor can anyone tell me what i can do or any advice please.
