hello!
maybe my question will be silly for you.. but I don't know how were made the first mutations??
green is wildlife colour..
I live in Poland and a few years ago I saw in some book my first mutations: lutino and blue
nowdays I know that there are many many mutations and combinations of these mutations
but how breeders made the first one?
what was the color??
I hope sb will reply and explain me this topic

Re: what was in the beginning?
As far as i know the first mutation are in the wild and they still continue to happen in the wild.
Some are bread in captivity but the original ones where caught in the wild and put in aviaries.
What the first mutation was i am not competely sure of.....
I thought it was the albino origonilly but that is a combo of blue ino so i would go with ino as what i beleive was the first mutation out of wild type.
This will get a couple more responces i am sure..
Thanks Glenn
