Olive is a dbl factor in a dominant gene. Likely split for blue and paired to blue will result in all dark factor offspring ie all babies will be dark green / blue and cobalt.

a lot of people mistakenly think they have an olive bird when they have a grey-green or violet green bird what color are the flight and tail feathers of your bird if they are grey you have a grey-green if they are violet you have a violet-green if they are dark blue green with yellowish tip you have a true olive bird

Discriminating between olive & grey-green is very much tricky until you have seen both types of birds together with your own eyes. Here is the best theoretical description given when I asked the same question :-

according to one book the main difference is the color of the two longest tail features which are olive green for grey-greens and mauve in olive mutation.
Best if you can take a nice and clear picture of the tail features in good light.

wow....
I don't know what does it mean "mauve" colour...
diffeferentation between some mutations or combinations is so hard for the beginner..........
