Stumbled across this board on Google, thought I'd join up. I've been owned by my green female IRN, Thomasina (Tomsy for short), for several years now. She was mistreated and neglected by past owners, and when she came into my life, she didn't trust anyone. It's been quite an adventure working with her, and I wouldn't trade her hanging upside down ringing her bells for anything.
Three parakeets, two strawberry finches, three ringneck doves, one shafttail finch, two zebra finches, and two male hamsters also call the house home. Tomsy is very jealous of the hamsters getting attention, as she was of my poor departed cockatiel Cheerio. In fact, it's a common joke around the house that Tomsy put a hit out on Cheerio so she could have all the attention.
