The second bird i would say is a golden olive (grey green cinnamon)
Cock := Green Cinnamon Grey(sf)
Hen := Blue
PROGENY
PERCENTAGE DESCRIPTION
25.000 % Green Cinnamon / Blue Hen
25.000 % Green Cinnamon Grey(sf) / Blue Hen
25.000 % Green / Blue Cinnamon Cock
25.000 % Green Grey(sf) / Blue Cinnamon Cock
Cock := Green Cinnamon Grey(sf)
Hen := Blue
PROGENY
PERCENTAGE DESCRIPTION
25.000 % Green Cinnamon / Blue Hen
25.000 % Green Cinnamon Grey(sf) / Blue Hen
25.000 % Green / Blue Cinnamon Cock
25.000 % Green Grey(sf) / Blue Cinnamon Cock
Hi Madasmadas wrote:first one: not easy to tell. turquoise blue or turquoise cobalt. Is the head white (Is the tail white too)?
second: male turquoise grey. the offspring is:
25% grey
25% blue
25% turquoise grey
25% turquoise
The head is light grey and the tail is same color as the rest of his body.
I was told that he is a Turqoise but wasn't sure
Thanks for reply

What color could i get with a Blue male and a Lutino female?
Regards Jan
If your birds are true color birds (without any splits) then you will get:Jan wrote:Hi Coastal-BirdsCoastal-Birds wrote:The second bird i would say is a golden olive (grey green cinnamon)

What color could i get with a Blue male and a Lutino female?
green / blue / ino (lutino) males and green / blue females.
if your blue cock is split for ino and the hen is only lutino then you will get:
the same birds as above + ino / blue birds for both sexes.
if your cock is only blue and the lutino hen is split for blue then you will get:
green / blue / ino (lutino) males and green / blue females + blue / ino males and blue females.
if your blue cock is split for ino and the lutino hen is split for blue then you will get:
the result above + albino and ino / blue birds for both sexes.
Thank you so much for the Infomadas wrote:If your birds are true color birds (without any splits) then you will get:Jan wrote:Hi Coastal-BirdsCoastal-Birds wrote:The second bird i would say is a golden olive (grey green cinnamon)

It would be great a better pic of the turquoise male: blue turquoise with a grey head is not very usual.

Hi Jan
I have made a mistake saying that bird is a golden olive.
It cant be as it has a black bottom beak and grey feet with black nails.
But it looks a uniform colour all over which a pastel grey does not look like.
Can you tell me does that birds have a light violet mauve tail?
I have pastel greys in all pastel shades and none are the same colour all over or pastel in tails ,these are always all grey with no pastel.
The blue bird seems to be light also maybe it is flash from camera doing this.
Cheers

Thanks RecioRecio wrote:Thank you for the pic;
There is not any doubt: it is a blue turquoise, and the head is turquoise; I do not see any grey colour on his head.
Im still trying to figure out certain colors or mutations of some of my birds. I know one thing for sure that this male as you say is for sure a Blue Turquoise.
Many Thanks.
