Which is cuter, the kid or the bird.... bird is cute, no doubt... looks alot like my Chief but the little girl has him beat.

Look at those grey eyes... heartbreaker in training.

When I search life expectancy of lovebirds on the net, it comes up with genrally 15 years but can, in some instances, live past this and as long as 30.

With the Tiel everything I find on the net says either 15 - 20 years or 25- 30 .. From experience I would say the later, Locco definately was 28 years, we pulled him out of the egg he was stuck in , when mum disguarded it for dead. Locco possibly was an, "in some instances" case, so maybe you could say the same for Tiels as lovebirds, generally 15 - 20 but in some instances up to 30.

Then I am not a breeder and just using the net to search out this info.

Cheers !

the reason why i asked about a love bird is because my aunt has a pair and she said she got it about 5 yrs before i was born and the breeder said they were about a yr old so im 26 now and add 6 to it its about 32 and them things must have viagra becasue they are still have lil lovebirds. so im all lost
