Hi,

My female Green IRN has a dark bottom beak and a red top.

I have not heard of anything bad feeding frozen fruit and veg to birds. I know of some people who give their birds ice on hot days.

The beak colours are based on the mutation, and its certainly a normal characteristic among IRN's and they get this as they mature.

Regarding the frozen food, its no problem as far as I know at all. Frozen veg wont damage your birds beak, they crunch on harder stuff than that... and yeah I know a few birds that are partial to ice.

use with birds yes .. in other uses it is the jaw sections, as in insects (ants, beetles etc.)

the mandible is either of a pair of mouthparts used for biting, cutting and holding food.

some very interesting study material

That is the end of class, I will expect a 5000 word essay by next friday. Class dismissed .. hehehe

Darn, here I thought I was done with study!

Will have to remember my favourite uni courses where I learnt how to say the same thing, in many different ways, each and every form seeming a somewhat other and independant structure. God knows how anyone else actually passes uni making 'use' of the word quota...

Argh.. even the memories hurt!
