hello i have just puchased a silver cock bird he is split pastel.
and his mother had white head and blue body i have forgot what mutation this is called can some one please help !!!

Silver = Grey Cinnamon
Pastel = Turquoise
You cant have a visual Grey bird and have it split Turquoise. It is either turquoise, or it isnt unless you are talking about green birds... they can be split turquoise, its a genetic twist with blue that you cannot have a blue or grey bird split turquoise. (visual grey is actually blue and grey genes)
I would place a guess that the mother was a Pallid... the old debunked name for pastel is Lacewing if that rings a bell.
To have a cinnamon male young, the hen would have to also have been Cinnamon as well.
Do you know what the father was?
