more questions i was told today that if i dont seperate kieron (my adult blue male ) from the 7 month old youngtsers he will kill them because hes ready to breed & they arnt
i thought it was only the females that get like this could someone give me any advice on this as kieron shares a cage with at one of the babies every night (kieron always sleeps in the big cage but riku & general like to change between the 2 cages
i think i have found the perfect cage for the breeding cage buti would like an opinion on weather or not it is suitable
i could not find a picture of the exact one but this is similar

the demensions are

58 cms deep
81 cms wide
actual cage height 120 cms with a large sturdy play area on top
not only is it a good size cage but ive found it at a great price

Mature males will not normally harm young hens but in fact entice them to breed.

That cage should be large enough for them to breed in.
