Can somebody tell me that if it possible to identify if a green IRN is split to any color. Right now i've got 3 green IRNs which came from in 3 different pairs. Visually the 3 green IRNs differs in shades of green, toe nails and even in tails. So is it posible? Tnx
It's not possible to determine a split based on visual appearance. That's just the nature of recessive traits.
Besides color genes, birds also inherit modifier genes - these are minor genes that make each individual bird look different from other birds of the same color. For instance, some Blues are darker than others, some Turquoises have more Green than Blue compared to other Turquoises, some Yellows have Greenish sheen while others don't, or some IRNs having more black on their beaks compared to others, etc.
